Every time I decide to do exercise and it always end up in 9-10 days jogging, thats it. Then my body automatically stops thinking about exercise. But this time I really decided to work hard to loose some weight. I knew that its going to be a short term decision, but still I was firm.
I put on new shoes, new shorts and sports t-shirt; those I bought for jogging; and left home. For me, jogging was only a parameter for photography and enjoying music on the go.
That day was same like all others. I put headphones on, tuned some jazz and left home. I started jogging on the track on sea-side. The sundown time has made sky to mix all orange, pink, blue, grey shades together. The reflexion of sunset was still seen in water. The tides, back and forth, were trying to leave impressions of twilight on the shore. The ocean was all calm, it might be feeling the emptiness in the life. However, the high or low tides, still it remained at the same place. Like our life, we also experience so many ups and downs in life and still at the same place where we always are in search of something. Something that satisfies our soul.
I wan running with these and similar thoughts on mind. Sun was about to say good bye for the day, and night was started to cover up the sky. Birds were started returning back to their home. I stopped at the Peace statue, which was on seaside.
I was fascinated by all colours in the sky and in middle of that the statue of Peace. I hankered for to capture those colours on my camera. And I saw them. They were walking roughly slowly around that statue. A woman, of age around 60 and a man , of age around 65-70, holding hand in hand. They were looking at ground and roaming around the statue. It seems they were searching for something. Just then, a police man came there and asked if he could help them. The man asked for the statue of Peace. The statue is right there, but why couldn't they find it. The couple was blind. The police man held his hand and brought him exactly below the statue and went on his motorcycle.
The man stood under the statue, the woman took out one stick from her bag, walked a little away from the man. Took out one big camera from bag. She set the camera in front of her head approximately, a sound confirming the position came from the camera, the man smiled and she clicked the photo.
I just stunned to see what happening in front of me. If they can't see, then what is the purpose behind clicking the pics. The couple passed by me, I heard the woman saying to her husband, "Mariya would be pleased to see our photos."
I couldn't get out of the frame for a while. It took me a minute to realise that they are blind. But actually they have got a real sight. A sight how to see towards life.
I kept thinking about my problems, my worries in life. I always kept complaining about my job, my career, and blah blah. The couple made all easy in their life. Ofcourse it was difficult for them to keep walking such life, but they were walking all smiling face. Till then the sky was covered all grey, black shade. The dusky colours were decorating the horizon.
But the sunshine on the couple's face will never fade away.
